LCS Foundation Names New Board Member
The LCS Foundation has appointed Sharon Maguire, LCS SVP/Chief Health & Wellness/Resident Experience Officer, to serve a three-year term on its board of directors. The appointment was made during the LCS Foundation 2024 Annual Meeting, along with the renewal of terms for four current board members. The LCS Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to supporting the senior living industry.
“Sharon’s enthusiasm for the senior living industry, passion for health and wellness, and clinical expertise in aging and dementia will be a valuable addition to our board,” said Elisa Baptiste, LCS Foundation Board Chair. “I am excited to leverage her knowledge to deepen the work we do through our Senior Care and Alzheimer’s Committee.”
Maguire replaces Sarah Dorr, LCS SVP/Managing Director, Capital Markets, who rotated off the board after five years of dedicated service.
The following board members received a renewal of their board positions and will serve for an additional three-year term:
- Elisa Baptiste, SVP/Chief Operating Officer, CPS
- Ryan Bircher, Senior Director, Assistant Controller, LCS
- Monica Friedman, EVP/Chief Human Resources Officer, LCS
- Jason Jorgenson, SVP/Managing Director, Development, LCS
The LCS Foundation was created by retired LCS CEO Ed Kenny to give back to the senior living industry. Its three pillars of focus include:
- Support Alzheimer’s care and research.
- Develop future leaders in the senior housing and care profession.
- Support LCS employees through an Emergency Relief Fund (ERF) program.
